I'm also looking forward to the windows desktop app but in the meantime, a trick you can use is to use the web version of Team Viewer (or a similar web-based remote desktop app) to remote into your windows machine and then use Guide Jar to record the actions from there.

I found a better solution. We still need a Windows app but, while we're waiting, Windows 11 has a tool called Windows Steps Recorder.

Hey guys, we're definitely taking it up considering the overflowing requests. We're committed to building what our customers actually need. The windows app should be out by Feb 2024

Icymi, we already have a Mac app that could capture the whole desktop. And we've taken up the windows app request and will be available by Feb 2024
